How long is the wait time for a systematic review search? For a scoping review search?

Answer

For the Library to collaborate on a knowledge synthesis, we require a protocol and a completed and discussed Project Proposal Form. Once those have been received and the IS has discussed them with you, we recommend you plan for the full strategies, downloaded results, and complete documentation to take six to eight weeks

It is possible for the search to take more or less time depending on the search question, getting team agreement, workload factors, and various unforeseen circumstances.

For more information about the the knowledge synthesis support UHN Libraries provides, as well as the Project Proposal Form and links to information about protocols, see the Knowledge Synthesis Support page.
